GOAL 1

Enhance emergency preparedness to minimize incident impact and ensure rapid, effective fire and rescue response, mitigation, and recovery, safeguarding lives and property efficiently for the community.

Objective 1.1: Maintain a fleet of apparatus and associated equipment in a constant state of readiness. 

Performance Measure 1.1: Perform daily apparatus inspections to ensure that all responding units are 100% capable. 

Objective 1.2: Ensure a highly skilled and prepared workforce for effective service delivery.

Performance Measure 1.2: Maintain at least 90% of annual mandated training for operations members. Ensure training standards meet and/or exceed ISO requirements through consistent training schedules on topics including company training (192hrs), driver training (12hrs), officer training (12hrs), hazmat training (6hrs), and facility training (18hrs).

GOAL 2

Ensure prompt emergency response while maintaining accurate records, enhancing data reliability, and continuously improving service delivery through precise performance tracking.

Objective 2.1: Track response times to identify areas of response for apparatus and personnel usage.

Performance Measure 2.1: Respond to all emergency calls for assistance with an average response time by first arriving unit at 10:00 minutes or less 90% of the time annually.

Objective 2.2: Maintain accurate and approved report writing to ensure compliance with internal and national reporting criteria.

Performance Measure2.2:  Ensure 100% of incident reports are completed and approved no later than 7 days following an incident, unless software issues are present.

GOAL 3

Implement a community risk reduction plan utilizing NFPA 1300.

Objective 3.1: Adopt NFPA 1300 as the District’s CRR Code.

Performance Measure 3.1: NFPA 1300 adoption completed and integrated into district policy with 100% of key personnel trained within 6 months of adoption.

Objective 3.2: Identify Public Safety Risks That May Lead to Injury, Loss of Life, and Property.

Performance Measure 3.2: Complete a comprehensive risk assessment and public safety risk report identifying at least 5 key risks for the district.

Objective 3.3: Implement Corrective Actions or Programs to Address Community Risk.

Performance Measure 3.3: Launch at least 2 new risk-reduction programs this year.
